Jennifer was appointed the CEO in September 2019, having joined the Caroline Chisholm Society in November 2017 as Transition Manager, and then after a competitive process, became the Director of Programs in April 2018.
Prior to joining Caroline Chisholm Society, Jennifer was awarded a Phd in Education with research in Early Childhood.
Jennifer holds a degree in Arts from Monash University and postgraduate research qualifications in social sciences and education from the Australian Catholic University. Jennifer spent several years in Canada with her family, undertaking key leadership roles with the government of Alberta including oversight on public policy in the fields of early childhood, disabilities and human services.
Since joining the team, Jennifer’s role has covered the scope and breadth of work across the organization, including working to establish, broaden and embed services and programs across all three sites; leading through change to support the Society in achieving accreditation through the quality improvement process; and working with team leaders and practitioners to strengthen integrated family services as part of a continuum of supports and services for at-risk and vulnerable families.
