The Society’s family services offers a voluntary home visitation program for pregnant and new mums and families with young children, and is designed to work with parents on the safety, stability and development of children and their families.
Families can either contact Child FIRST or the Society directly for a local intake assessment. The Society is a member of the Child FIRST alliances for Brimbank/Melton and Western Melbourne, who have oversight for the central referral point for vulnerable families to connecting them to community-based support services.
The Society works with a family to assess the need, focussing on early parenting and the First 1000 Days, building resilience and adult capability to improve the health and wellbeing of children and their families.
