Media, the news and our approach to public commentary

Caroline Chisholm Society is an engaged member of our community. We work in Moonee Valley, Caroline Springs and Shepparton, and represent our local communities in state-wide forums. We are particularly concerned about issues facing expectant and new mothers and their families, including pregnancy, early parenting, childcare and kindergarten, social isolation, perinatal mental health, poverty, homelessness and family violence.

Thank you to our Goulburn Valley Pregnancy and Family Support team in Shepparton today for hosting a visit from Suzanna Sheed Independent MP for the District of Shepparton A wonderful opportunity to share with her our work and a greater appreciation for our collaborative efforts in serving mothers and their children in the Goulburn Valley for near on 50 years. And don’t forget The Nappy Collective is currently underway! This morning I met with Jennifer Weber Interim CEO of Caroline Chisholm Society, and the wonderful volunteers at Goulburn Valley Pregnancy and Family Support Service in Shepparton.
They are always happy to accept monetary donations or goods to assist them in the vital service and assistance they offer new mothers, babies and families. Capsules and prams are particularly in demand right now and any donations would be greatly appreciated.
